Banzai
Banzai is our big cultural event of the fall semester. Held in November, it is a part of the Pan-Asian Alliance's Experience Asia Month. The annual event includes origami, calligraphy, Japanese games like shogi and go, and video games. Sushi, onigiri (riceballs), udon noodles, as well as Japanese sweets, are served. Performances have included TCNJ Taiko, haiku readings, Aikido demonstrations, and more!
Origami Workshop
A few of our members are talented paper folders. Throughout the year, learn how to fold various models, such as the crane, lotus, and boxes.
Sakura Matsuri
In the spring, the cherry blossoms are in bloom. And so, we trek (take two coach buses) up to our nation's capital to view the flowers and attend the largest Japanese street festival in the country!

SuDaKaRe
SuDaKaRe is our annual video game tournament. Held in the spring semester, this event draws in pro gamers for our intense tournaments and enthusiasts for our free play games. Prizes are awarded to the top three players in each tournament. Games used have included Street Fighter, Super Smash Bros., Guilty Gear, Soul Calibur, Blaze Blue, and more. Free play games have included Mario Kart, DDR, a DS corner, and more.
Mitsuwa Trip
Each semester, we make a trip up to Edgewater, New Jersey, to visit Mitsuwa! What is Mitsuwa you ask? It's a Japanese mini-mall, complete with food store, several small places to eat, a bookstore, a toy store, and more! New photo coming eventually. In the meantime, enjoy this rubber duck.
Hibachi
At the end of each semester, the club goes off campus for some delicious hibachi. A local Japanese restaurant, Banzai, is our location of choice.
